Finally Apple has cleared the air and has unveiled their plans to use Intel’s tinier Penryn-Class 1.6GHz and 1.86GHz Core2 Duo Processors for their MacBook Air. The 65-nm processor would be a great addition to the MacBook Air.
The product versions that would utilize this processor would be the SL9300 and SL9400. The processor spots an increase of L2 cache to 6MB which would give it much better processing time compared to its predecessors and as for energy consumption it would be lowered to 17W compared to 20W.
It’s getting sexier on the MacBook Air.
