Do you have one of those tiny little doors where you pet uses it to get into your house? Well, you should take note that not only your pet utilizes this pet door – other pets could easily gain access to your house. Stray cats for example, could easily follow your cat home and eat your cat food supplies without you even noticing what was happening. This means that your monthly expenditure for cat food would be significantly increased without you noticing what was happening in the house.
Well I came to know this product that could help solve your problem and it’s called the microchip cat flap. How this cat flap works is whenever your cat goes near the cat flap, it would scan your cat’s microchip to determine whether it is your cat or not – once the microchip is verified, the cat flap would be unlocked giving access to your cat.
I believe that the petporte microchip cat flap is a wonderful design as it is automated and would help you increase security in the house against unauthorized access by stray cats. I also believe that it is easy to install on your door and would be an excellent addition to your pet accessories.
However, what concerns me the most about the pet porte microchip cat flaps is the microchip. I’m not really comfortable inserting a microchip onto my cat – as I feel that I wouldn’t be comfortable as well should a microchip be inserted inside me.
On the other hand, I think that the price for the cat flap is pretty reasonable – it’s retailing online at £125. But most importantly, this product works and it would help safeguard your cat against strays and unnecessary harm at home.

A quick survey conducted by Microsoft has unveiled that they might incorporate an ‘Instant On’ function on their latest Windows operating system.
As the name implies, should the ‘Instant On’ feature gets off the ground, this means that you could access applications within your PC ‘instantaneously’ as compared to previous Windows versions where you’ll need to wait for a couple of seconds to wait for it to load.
However, I don’t think that they would be able to apply this feature to all applications – you’ll need to choose which applications are important to you and these applications would have priority using the ‘Instant On’.
This concept is not new – It is already being used on ASUS' Splashtop OS. |

Finally Apple has cleared the air and has unveiled their plans to use Intel’s tinier Penryn-Class 1.6GHz and 1.86GHz Core2 Duo Processors for their MacBook Air. The 65-nm processor would be a great addition to the MacBook Air.
The product versions that would utilize this processor would be the SL9300 and SL9400. The processor spots an increase of L2 cache to 6MB which would give it much better processing time compared to its predecessors and as for energy consumption it would be lowered to 17W compared to 20W.
It’s getting sexier on the MacBook Air. |
