I’m beginning to think that electronics manufacturers are beginning to feel the pinch from the economic turmoil. On the other hand, I have heard news from the internet stating that electronics retailers are in fact stockpiling huge unsold electronics stock due to poor demand from consumers.
Nevertheless, I saw a deal of a lifetime when Nextar has decided to throw in free traffic updates for life for their Q4-LT Navigator. This means that you just have to pay a single purchase fee of $249.99 and you will enjoy free updates for your navigator.
The Q4-LT Navigator comes with 2D and 3D NAVTEQ maps of both the United States and Canada. On the other hand, it doubles as an MP3 and JPEG player with free rechargeable batteries as well.
I think that this is a reasonable deal and you should get one for Christmas!

Come to think of it, both the processor producing giants, AMD and Intel resemble the latest Bond movie. With all those spying and selling sensitive information to your competitor – it’s the war of the digital world.
Well according to some benchmarkers, they have claimed that the latest AMD Phenom II processors are indeed a couple of notches slower than Intel’s Core i7 Extreme processors.
Judging from some of the tests which the AMD Phenom II processors have gone through, it scored 4,091 in 3DMark06 but when overclocked, the score increased tremendously to 5,086. Intel Core i7 Extreme on the other hand, scored 6,608 – which are far far ahead of AMD Phenom II processors.

Not long after President-elect Barack Obama won the election for the future president of the United States, Bush has in fact in person met up with Obama. Well Bush has commented that he wish for a clean transition of power to Obama.
For the first time in US history, the country would be led by a black citizen. To tell you the truth, I’m very proud of Barack Obama as he has created a place in history.
Let’s just hope for the best for January 2009 and that Obama would fulfill his pledges to create a better word through major reforms. I’m pretty sure that he would face tough challenges ahead – crippling economy, high unemployment rate, war in Iraq (this is enough to make a sane man, insane).
I pray for the best for the United States.

I do love those small little netbooks – it’s so stylish and I’m beginning to think that it’s the latest fad. Well, come to think of it, I’m researching on which netbook to buy. There are simply so many choices which I can choose from – the Dell Mini9, ASUS, Acer and HP Compaq Mini 700.
I got a glimpse of the Mini 700 from HP and I can say that it’s really tiny. On the other hand, it comes with a sleek black exterior which I think is really perfect for tech geeks like me.
So you might be wondering how much this little bugger would cost me? Well according to sources, retailers are selling the Mini 700 for £399 ($594) in the market and it would come with the 1.6GHz Atom-based processor and 10.2 inch display with 1024x600 resolution.
Tough economic condition requires tighter spending don’t you think?

Looking through the think newspaper that I read every morning, I begun to wonder – is the economy really that bad or are various industries in the country taking this advantage to scam the government for tax payer’s money?
Just take a look at this scenario – half a year ago, things weren’t really that bad at all. Come to think of it, during 2008 Olympics in Beijing, things were in fact marvelous!
But as the year near its end, you can see huge multinational financial institutions crying out loud – saying that they are getting broke and that the mortgage industry is making them loose tons of cash. (What a cry baby)
And when the financial institutions stopped crying, the auto industry followed suit – threatening the government by saying that if they don’t help out, the big 3 automakers would close shop and this would spell disaster to the overall economy.
Well from my point of view, I’m beginning to think that this might be the largest scam by various industries to take advantage of the vulnerable position that the country is in at the moment.
Shame on you and shame on Bush for believing these cry babies.
